About Me and My Crohns
Hello and welcome to Me and My Crohn’s. I have set up this blog for people, like me and you, who have Crohn’s or know someone with Crohn’s (From my experience everyone knows someone who knows someone who has Crohn’s!).
Most of the posts on here will be about my experiences with Crohn’s and how I try to get into symptom free remission, once there, hopefully I’ll be able to stay there.
I welcome all comments. Please tell me, tell us all, about your experiences with Crohn’s, your medication or surgery. Ask questions, I’ll do my best to find the answer (or find someone with the answer). Hopefully this will help us all in our quest to become healthy and symptom free. This is the goal for us all, surely?
The main content of this blog will centre around infliximab (Remicade to some people). I feel there is minimal information out there for this drug in everyday life. There are plenty of facts and figures, but no real life stories. This is where I come in, with MeAndMyCrohns.co.uk. I will document all aspects involved in taking this drug.
In between writing about my Infliximab experience, I would like to build up a directory of usefulness; things like diet advice, what to take into hospital to prevent boredom, just general help for all things Crohn’s related (maybe even content that isn’t related to Crohn’s). So any suggestions for hints and tips please send them to me.
I hope you find this site useful or at the very least interesting.
